Ahern had an very promising first season on the Union Swimming and Diving team. She was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week three times and competed in the NCAA Division III Championships at the University of Minnesota. She finished 14th in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.77, and finished 15th in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.47. Kaleigh has the potential to win an NCAA championship.
