Female Athlete of the Spring: Kristin Joyce

Joyce was the best offensive player in the Liberty League this Spring hands down. She lead the league with 64 goals, 85 points, and was tied for first in game-winning goals with four. Not only was she scoring in the regular season, but she was putting up huge numbers in the playoffs. In the Liberty League Championships she scored eight goals and two assists, including all three goals the Dutchwomen scored in the championship game against Hamilton, and in the NCAA tournament she led her team with three goals and an assist. She was honored by the Liberty League as she was named First Team All- Liberty League and the Liberty League Player of the Year. We are still waiting to see if Joyce will be named to an NCAA Division III All-American team.
