Ham comes through in last-chance throw

SCHENECTADY, NY - Senior Union college track and field standout Jun-Ho Ham provisionally qualified for the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the discus at the Roberts Wesleyan "Raider Last Chance Qualifier". Ham threw a personal best 47.54 meters on this third throw of the meet.
Ham is currently ranked 19th in the country in the discus and this throw was a personal best by two meters.
This years national championship will take place at Don Drumm Stadium on the campus of Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio from May 21-23.
