SCHAPPS YOUTUBE VIDEO OF THE WEEK: "BAD GIRLS CLUB"

This week's video comes from the TV show Bad Girl's Club. I haven't seen this show, but a friend showed me this video and I cannot stop watching it. If you type in Bad Girls Club this video should come up as the first result; it's called "Tanisha - Get the F*ck Up (Remix)". The story behind this video is that Tanisha, the "artist" of the video, was kept from sleeping the night before due to her noisy housemates. This results in Tanisha waking up early, grabbing some pans, and giving her house a nice wakeup call.
Tanisha makes up a song called "Get the F*ck Up", and proceeds to scream throughout the house. While the majority of the lyrics are "Get the f*ck up", there are some other witty lines. The song starts off with "Call the Police! Call, call the police!" Tanisha just walks into the different girls' rooms and slams the pans together. One day, I hope to do something as brilliant as this. She gets the girls up, and of course, they don't look very happy. Judging by Tanisha's continuation of her rant, revenge is nothing less than sweet. It seems that Tanisha will not rest until every last person in the house is out of bed. Tanisha goes on, "I didn't get no sleep cause of ya'll. Ya'll gonna get no sleep cause of me!"
Since this video is titled a remix, some background music was added and editing work was done to Tanisha's jam. These effects definitely enhance the video, especially when Tanisha's head movements are repeated over and over again. The editor also added in the script at the bottom corner of the screen, as if this were a music video. If I were in the house with Tanisha, I couldn't be mad at her because what she does is just too funny. When watching this video, make sure to pay attention to the last few seconds because this is where Tanisha utters my favorite quote. After slamming the pans together over and over again, Tanisha apologizes to them, saying "Sorry pans…" My hat goes off to Tanisha for one of the sweetest paybacks ever.
