From the Editor's Desk: Uniquely Union, Uniquely Untrue

As much as we all want to believe that Union is a very unique school I don't believe it is because the things that are uniquely Union are slowly being taken away. I'm tired of hearing: "You'll never know how Union use to be." As much as I want to not care about all the legendary traditions that have been part of Union for so many years I really do want those traditions.… Post the First Comment

Campus Action takes a much needed action
Campus Action takes a much needed action As students walk around campus, and particularly near the Nott memorial, they will see hundreds of wooden markers lined up in a domino like fashion on the lawn. The administration has made it clear that Union is no longer going to grace the ranks of the party school lists in the Princeton Review, USA Today or whatever publication is more important at the moment.… Post the First Comment

CAMPAIGN CALUMNY

"Mrs. President, infidel, old, querulous, mean-spirited" - the calumny of today's campaigns? Hardly, it was the campaign of 1804, with Thomas Jefferson defeating the incumbent John Adams on the 36th ballot in the House of Representatives in one of the nastiest campaigns ever.… Post the First Comment
